Our barbershop vibe is a little different from the usual local barbershop. Our customers range from 5 years to 80 years; we love the diversity of our customers. Our team are friendly, local barbers who are a part of the local community. Fades are our specialty, along with face shaves and fresh cuts.

Our manager Mel has a passion for organic dreadlocks, whether it’s one or a whole head of dreaddies, we can help with installation and maintenance. We even have some funky beads to add to dreads. For the guys that want to blend their greys, cameo colouring is a must to try.

Enjoy a complimentary Hot Towel with all cuts and a ‘coldie’ on Fridays.

A boutique full-service barbershop

Located Oceanside Victoria Point, we are a boutique full-service barbershop. A small team of 3, Victoria Point Barber Shak’s mission is to provide a high level of service with a smile. We are continually advancing our professional skills to expand our skill sets and selves exponentially to give our valued customers the very best experience in men’s hairstyling.

We are dedicated to educating our youth through offering different modes of education in barbering, continuously infusing our barbershop with young energy whilst improving their futures. Through our positive approach and mindset, we expand our business organically and encourage community within our local region.

I recently visited the Barber Shak with my two daughters for haircuts. The barbers were extremely friendly (and patient!) with my little ones who are 3.5 and 6.5 years old. The business is under new ownership with a fresh, new look. I love that it is away from the major shopping centres, you don’t have to wait as long and it’s not too busy (covid-times friendly!). Highly recommend you pop in and support this lovely local business.

What We Offer

Men's Style Cut- $30

30 minutes

Men’s stye cuts including traditional and modern styles.

Bald Fade - $35

30 minutes

The bald fade haircut is a faded hairstyle that features longer hair on top and short back and sides usually shaved down to the skin (bald). The fade refers to the smooth transition from the top of the hair to the neckline, with the hair going down to skin level. Precise blending is used when creating the bald fade.

Men's Style Cut & Beard Trim - $40

Buzz Cut 1 Blade - $16

15 minutes

Single clipper comb used on the whole head. Lined up with trimmers and foil or cut-throat razor.

Buzz Cut 2 Blade - $20

30 minutes

Using one clipper length on the sides and back and a longer clipper comb on top. Lined up with trimmers and foil or cut-throat razor.

Seniors Hair Cut - $27

30 minutes

Cut Throat Face Shave - $45

30 minutes

A traditional straight razor shave that includes pre-shave balm followed up with a steamed towel, light facial massage and an aftershave treatment. Expect to spend about 30 minutes with us during this treatment. This shave, exfoliation and moisturising treatment will leave you looking good and feeling refreshed.

Dreadlocks - $POA

We are now offering organic dreadlocks – both installation and maintenance. Our lovely Mel has a great technique that uses a hook and her hands. Absolutely no product is used with our Dreadlocks whatsoever.

Grey blending - $25

Grey blending is great for guys that want to give some added vibrancy to their natural greys. It is a semi colour, so will fade out naturally with absolutely no regrowth. Whether you have a special occasion or just want a change, grey blending is a great option.
